We understand that in the working environment things may not seem normal at the moment. Staff numbers may be low and you may find some employees are covering jobs they don’t usually deal with. Business’s may also be so focused to get the COVID-19 safety measures in place to keep their employees and customers safe that they may overlook any training their employees may need.
Don’t let your other dangers and hazards in the workplace take a back seat whilst you deal with COVID-19. Stay up to date with your employees training needs to ensure you are keeping everyone as safe as possible.
We are doing everything we can to ensure our training candidates can still attend the training courses they need, whether that be online training or social distanced training.
What have we put in place?
- Any candidates that attend a training course with us must fill in a COVID-19 questionnaire prior to attending and reminded that if they get symptoms not to attend.
- We are only training a maximum of 2 candidates per course.
- Candidates must socially distance at all times on site.
- Gloves are provided to all candidates and they must be worn when using any vehicles.
- All surfaces on the vehicles, and in the training rooms will be cleaned before and after any contact.
- Running water, soap, hand sanitizer, tissues and antibacterial spray is all available in the training area. We encourage all training candidates to wash their hands at regular intervals during the training.
- We ask for all training candidates to bring their own safety boots and hi vis.
- All candidates will be provided with their own pen and training manual to avoid sharing by multiple users.
- If at any point a training candidate starts to show symptoms of COVID-19, or if the candidate is not abiding by our safety measures and putting other candidates and our instructor at risk, we have the right to immediately stop the training and ask them to leave site.
- We are also able to take the temperature of any candidates.
- We are boosting online Training as an alternative for some courses at this time.
