Digital Tachograph and Drivers Hours Legislation, covering Training with or without Driver CPC:
Analogue tachographs have now been in use for years and now we have Digital Tachographs which are much easier to use and provide you with the security and control of recording your driving hours and duty period.
Drivers must be able to operate both types of tachographs as new vehicles come into use, as all new vehicles have the new digital tachograph smart-cards.
The course includes: learning how to use the Digital Tachograph, the rules and regulations of Tachograph operation and what records drivers need to keep.

Training a driver to get the best fuel return from your vehicle, can make massive savings within the business. Telematics will show you what the driver is doing, but without the training how will they actually improve their driving style? Our trainer is kept up to date with most OEM’s in terms of product knowledge allowing this to be passed on to the driver, along with driving techniques. You will soon get your money back on the savings. We take a group of drivers into the classroom for the first part of the course. This part is driver CPC approved. We then revisit your drivers on a one-to-one basis and spend half a day with them in their truck conducting practical training. Demonstrating and encouraging drivers to use where applicable adaptive and predictive cruise control, manual gears, and all safety features, ensuring you get back the investment you made in your truck.
