This course will give you / your driver competence of skills, knowledge, and techniques. You as a driver will know how to safely move a heavy good vehicle around the company yard/ premises.
This will give a safer working area of yard and safer working for yard personnel as this will be great to prevent damage to vehicles and properties.
In the course you will be covering:
- Health & Safety at Work Act
- Yard safety assessment
- Vehicle and Trailer checks
- Coupling and Uncoupling
- Safe parking of Units and Trailers
- Manoeuvring laden and unladen trailers
- Hand signals to be used for assisting drivers manoeuvring
