DGSA – Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser – Consultancy

If you’re in the transport business, you should know that since January 2000 any company or other organisation that are transporting dangerous goods should have appointed a qualified DGSA “Dangerous goods safety adviser”

The Adviser must hold a certificate (gained by passing an exam with the SQA)

The function of the DGSA is to monitor and advise on the organisations compliance with the rules concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road and to prepare the company’s annual report.
